    It depends on a few things. Do you swing your arms when you walk? The more motion you have, the more calories you’ll burn. Your diet is a huge thing. Do you eat alot of fruits, veggies, lean meats and fill up? These thing will help you too.
    I don’t know why you reflect your stout won’t go away from running. I can tell you this…I’ve never seen a stout marathon runner. Other things you can do is to weight train, or do other cardio exercises if you want to lose weight w/o distress on your joints. You can use apparatus like rowing apparatus, ellipticals, bike apparatus, or go swimming. These are simple on your joints.
    Honestly, I know that if you just walk, it’ll take a really long time. You should try exercises that bring your heart rate up…because not only is it better for losing stout, but also excellent for your heart and lungs.
